Having enjoyed my last classic moped and having reduced my classic collection, there’s a gap appearing for a 50cc ring a ding ding ped. Im not really after a project as my mechanical skills are limited , I fancy a nicely sorted runner I can tinker with and enjoy on local roads.

I have a Raleigh RM6 Runabout, un-restored, 1964 if I recall correctly. Some ‘patina’ ie showing its age. Needs a carb clean and points clean/set. But does run well with clean fuel.

Cheers KMD Im looking at the more sporty end , if a sporty moped isnt an oxymoron. Like a Puch Monza, Kriedler ffloret type. 👍👍

Out of interest, what’s a Raleigh Runabout worth these days?
My dad had one to go to work on in the 60’s. I remember sitting on the tank behind the seat when I wanted a lift. No helmets worn then . You had to pedal them to start them and was good fun when I was in my early teens riding across fields.
 
Cheers guys some interesting bikes there. The dollar price is something Ive seen before. Euro prices is another, fine if France but not Westhaughton 🤣
