Classic Vehicle Show 5th July

I am hoping to leave work (Holborn, London) about 18:30 with a friend so will get there about 19:30.
Two 1150's - blue/white and mandarin.

Sounds good- Think I will venture that way and hopefully arrive 6.30' ish :thumb2

I got there about 19:30 and the place was rammed. The roads leading up to it were chock-a-block and not helped by a major road being dug up with temp traffic lights. In the end they had to turn cars away.

Lots of cars, Yank tanks, lorries, bikes, scooters, camper vans - something for everyone. Forgot my camera :blast

Personally, I think the event was massive for just a 3 hour show - more like whole day/weekend event. Well worth the entry money - free!!!

I seen a lot less at bigger events, There were some great vehicles shame some of them were put in Dustie's Corner. some good stuff covered in crap cos of the surface. A really nice CBX and a Kettle, The dude with the pickup and chopper, the rear engined Mini Oh and not forgetting the 2 guy's on the BMW GS's parked by the "Bigfoot" Rangerover. I dint take a camera cos i dint know it was going to be that good.

What a rather pleasant way to spend a warm sunny monday evening. As said traffic was a bit manky due to road works but made no difference to motorcyclists.

Here's a few that caught my eye...

1. GT40

2. Nice Austin Healey 3000

3. Another Nice Healey

4. Alpha Romeo Kit Car

5. Aformentioned Big Orange Range Rover
