Clock Problems Gs650 F

Hi am looking at buying a F650 GS and the seller tells me that the clocks were replaced twice under warranty (detailed in service book) due to a faulty batch. It is a 2002 model. I was wondering if anyone else has any knowledge of this as a genuine fault before I consider buying.

i have heard of this fault before.
if its in the service book and you are worried,
could check the dealers?
or see the full service history .
check out the old mot history on line.see if mileage corresponds with the condition of the bike.

or if you are not sure ,walk away there are plenty out there.
pay your £12 and join this site and you can buy a good one off here
