Cloudy Headlight

I have noticed that my headlight is not clear but 'cloudy'. I have not disassembled it because I am all thumbs.

I purchased my 2013 GS LC as a demo with about 1,500 k's aboard. At first I thought it was condensation but it definitely isn't.

Does anyone know what might be the reason?

I see other LC's and their headlights are crystal clear - mine not so.

Go to the dealer. I had all the internal coating (800GS) beeing burned inside the headlight with the consequence of the light becoming opaque.

Out of warranty (3 year old), the dealer said it was abnormal but BMW didn't want to take it.
The light should be changed.

The 1600 series had a problem with SOME (not all) bikes' headlamp glass becoming cloudy. As far as I know they were exchanged under warranty, as one might expect.
