Hello all.
I have an 1150 gsa 2004 and as the title suggests I get a slight clunk from the bike when the assisted brakes bite hard at slow speed. I'm sure it is coming from the pivot point below the tank for the paralever. Is this normal or does it need tightened. (if indeed it can be tightened)
Ta, in advance

Put the bike on its centrestand and get someone to pull on the forks while you feel for any play in the balljoint.
The joint can be replaced if needed, but make sure its tight (hex key and big spanner).
Dont take any chances with this component as the steering/forks will fail big time if this goes wrong.

Get hold of the brake disc and try to pull it backward and forward ( same direction as rotation of the wheel) very aggressively.
It's very common for them to work loose due to the crap wavy/compression washers.
