Clutch fitting

Got my new clutch ready to fit to the 1150. Book says 'remember to fit the cluch with the 3 paint marks on the clutch housing, thrust plate and housing cover are offset 120 degrees'
Are they talking about the white paint splodge, or the small pretty Blue/purple marks
Hope someone can enighten me

Check how the marks line up when you remove your original clutch.

Thats why i spend as much time as the factory do worrying about it.

I think you're saying it does not matter where the marks are !!!!
Do you know much about these BMW's then Mr Steptoe

Seriously now, does it matter where these marks go
