Hi All,
On the road in Italy at the mo.
Have a strange hydraulic clutch problem.
In the town and on the mountain roads where the clutch lever is being pulled often, no problem.
On the Autostrada when there are long periods of not using the clutch, the lever looses firmness and it can be difficult to change gear at a toll booth say. A few pumps of the lever and it is then fine.
This has been going on for a few days, and I even got a dealer in Spain to drain the system and put in a firmer oil in case there was air in the system. The problem resurfaced later.
Also when I get to the bike after it has been parked over night, the lever is firm and normal.
So it is only going soft when the bike is running and after long periods of not using the clutch.
Is there a problem with the slave or master cylinder??
Grateful any views.
