coding & fitting vario lock

just got a vario topbox (thanks nigel) and think I have worked out how to code the lock after searching on here, but need to know how to fit it back in

I have the barrel and a large yellow plastic thing which looks like part of teh lock mecahnism. It works without the lock at the mo

question: how do I fit the lock and mechanism back in, so it does lock/unlock? do I have to take the inner lid off and expose the underside of where the lock fits?

any picks or helo appreciated

Hi,

If you open the top box and lock where the yellow and red tabs are there are 3 cross head screws. If you take these out and remove the black section you will see where the lock barrel fits and the yellow piece which is loose with the lock fits it and turns with the barrel to lock the handle down. There is a good tutorial in GSpot on Advrider forum.
