Now my work for the union has come to an end, I am able to devote more time for researches.

I can therefore report that Gloagburn Farm near Perth can provide good coffee served by the most delicious butt-ocks I've seen in many a year. And you could help her with her homework after.

In order to investigate possibilities in the west of our kingdom, I am travelling to The Utter Hebrides tomorrow. Or mabe not. Currently forecasting 62kt SE winds....thats Force 11 to you landlubbers. Apart from ferry issues I have found that anything above Force 10 interferes hellish with casting a flee.

However, regular readers will recall an earlier expedition in which I enthused about staff at the Lochboisdale coopie. I will investigate and report back. Hopefully the rain will stir up the seatrout as well!

I'm heading south on a train from Aberdeen. Quite relaxing. Compaired to the chopper flight onto Shetland and then taking off from a short runway at Scatsta with heavy crosswinds. I was intending having a dram tonight anyway but I'm going to savour it even more after that experience

I think you may be having a crisis, mid life or otherwise.

First the boobies at queens view,
Now the arse at Perth,

What's next, although following your current trend I think I could guess.

Continue with your observations sir:thumb

It must be affa windae wi that stance:augie

Really odd....Mon AM 4.36, 110 mph gust on Skye Bridge, bridge shut for 7 hours, Kirkmicheal road flooded shut till Tues, Ferry cancelled til 10.30 pm...... tues all day, weds all day, thurs all day, nearly flat calm nearly all day (hence no use for fishing), fri bright sun (hence no use for fishing).....bright and mild in the Outer Isles. Amazing country this.

Despite all odds hooked this beast on a Silver Stoat, largest fish of the week, several other 2 lb plus sea-trout landed, most sea-liced. Great week. Hooked this leviathan and then discovered no net in boat, had to head lickety split for shore and beach it. Tasted magnificent. Hey ho.
