Well dug the bike out on Sunday for a ride only to find the battery was flat only a week since it was last out for a run.
The bikes only been away for a week stored with the alarm on. I sure the battery need replacing but I'm wondering how long I can leave the bike before I'm likely going to need to recharge it or consider putting it on a maintenance charge?
During the charging of the battery I decided it was time I cleaned the bike and during this I noted a hole in what I assumed was a sensor. Further investigations have revealed that what I assumed was a sensor is in fact a coil pack.
Are these common to fail?
Any recommendations on the best source of spares without going to the stealer?
