Coming into work today, the bike wouldn't go much above 4,000rpm. I am fairly sure this is what happens when a coil pack is dying, unable to do anything about it while at work though. Probably the last straw was going through water deep enough to slow the bike down on Saturday.

Sound like a coil pack to you lot?

Not the symptoms of coil pack failure I've had on my t-spark.

Check the air filter for water ingestion.

Pull the bottom secondary plug caps off on both sides and see if it runs using just the main coil pack plugs.

I had an old one at home, that has sat in the spares box for ages, it is rusty and looks bad, Cured it though. :beerjug:

I bought a new one from Motorworks anyway. It arrived today. At last!!! The outer casing is made from S/S, instead of painted M/S. Hopefully now the coilpacks will last longer.

Bike hiccupped again the other day. Bollocks. Then it cleared itself, I got home and rescued the old coil pack just in case. I will now have to see if it happens again!

Packer, I thought I'd unscrew the drain plug, not expecting much:blast

Bloody hell, the amount of water that came out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just off to the doctors now, see if the bike runs OK.
