Your understanding could be correct. 700GS footpeg rubbers probably won't fit.

Fit GS pegs instead? They're cheaper than forking out for either the Gillies adjustable BMW pegs (which did nothing for me to reduce vibration) or the pivot pegs plus toppers.

I've been told Nippy Norman has them and they make a difference to the vibration....

They did for me and I find them so much better than the stock ones.

I took my gsa wc in for a service and was given a gs wc as a loan bike, bear in mind it has the same bar arrangement , same controls and my gsa had a low seat on it (same as standard gs seat) so the bar /peg/seat orientation are identical yet the chnage to the narrow rubber pegs on the GS made a huge difference.

More comfortable and it meant that the foot controls felt much better. ......... a mod I will be carrying out on my GSA
