commuting in London on the GS

So its not just me then!

I had two last week alone! Pigeon heading towards me, me heading towards pigeon, i ducked (pigeoned?) and it just missed!

I went through exactly the same thoughts when i first thought about swapping my VFR for the 12GS on the daily commute!

I am so pleased i changed, after i got over two days of mirror bashing the 12 is a fantastic commuting tool, i have used it for a year now (and done weekend/continent blasts) and it has performed brilliantly, the torque is brilliant, you can get pull from any gear, the riding position is so comfortable for commuting, if you fancy cruising or thrashing the GS will do both...and if you are in the mood you can pull some superb wheelies :D

I get on ok with my ADV in town. The only time I notice the engine width is when the speed comes right down and I'm threading it through tight gaps in heavy traffic. My old Africa Twin is better in the really heavy stuff.
