Does anybody know how to fix this. I get this message when opening & closing Microsoft Excel on Windows 2000 Professional. To give a brief history my PC crashed due to a virus and was rebuilt, I believe there is a conflict between old & new Excel or something like that. Any ideas ?

No problems.

Now, if only I could find a solution for the error message "Microsoft Visual Basic, Run-time error '5852': Requested object is not available" every time I exit Word....

Errrm (scratches head)

I dont suppose you know why the 'send as attachment' option which allows you to send the spreadsheet straight to your email client has gone, do you ?

I think you either have a word macro thats not working quite right or it could be virus related (i have only seen that error in MS access)
