I was speaking to a friend today who said she had a few bugs on her laptop.
When I asked her what was wrong, the reply was simply that there were bugs walking around the screen eating parts of it.
As I was very confused and intrigued I agreed to look at the laptop.
I switched the laptop on, let it boot into Windows and sure enough to my amazement there were what appeared to be about 10 beetle like creatures walking around the screen randomly eating away at the desktop icons etc.
Norton Internet Security was installed on the laptop. I promptly removed this and replaced it with Windows Defender and the latest AVG Free Antivirus. Scanned laptop with both newly installed programs, several items were found and dealt with and now the 'bugs' are gone and the laptop seems to be running much better
