Afternoon all, anyone had condensation in the clocks? I took the cover off the bike today and the bottom half of the clock has fogged up. I have been out for a couple of hours and it is gradually fading away but is this the norm or is it warranty issue?

Cheers
Terry

It's that time of year, more moisture in the atmosphere. Under a cover more than usual condensation etc etc........................glass/ perspex materials love conden...................................

If you want to do something yourself, take them off(apparently it's easy) and put them in a sealed container with a couple of handfuls of dry rice, that will suck the moisture out.

Blimey! A sensible reply. Thanks. A good tip. I've got a G/S that would benefit.

Problem is when you put them back on moisture will get in again. Warranty issue

I have a friend with a K1600GTL with the same - and persistent - problem. His dealer was advised to remove the clocks and put them in a warm place for 48 hours to dry and then refit. All that did was take the bike off the road for 48 hours as the problem came back. The issue is now with BMW to resolve.
