Anyone else suffered with this, I don't use a pressure washer anywhere near the clocks, in fact I normally just wash it with a hose and mitt/ microfibres.

It's in for a service in a couple of weeks and have raised it with the dealer, it's hard to see in the pics but is actually pretty bad on the speedo and central display, on the inside of the plastic.

Will they ever build a modern bike properly :(

Yep, had it on my GS 1200 after I left it laid up for a couple of weeks. Only happened the once. Never got it sorted though as I traded the bike in for a newer GS.

This hasn't been laid up, but it has had a couple of torrential downpours to deal with, bless it.

I had some misting in the bottom right corner some months ago which went away and hasn't returned.
I mentioned it to my dealer and they said keep an eye on it and let them know if it returns.

So far it hasn't returned.

Safe riding,
Mike

Hi. My friend has had the fixing kit done on his that didn't work.
He has also had 2 new ones put luckily 2nd one seems alright.
They know about the problem.

Had what looked like condensation in my clocks, but was actually the anti-mist coating inside the glass running. Started at the top and looked like a line of fluid creeping down the inside of the clocks. My dealer changed the complete clocks, said they had seen it before, that was at 1600 miles, 4months later there is evidence of the same issue re-occurring, so I will be going back to dealer again.

A Guy on 'the other RT forum' has had his clocks changed twice for same issue.

Don't expect this on a £15k+ bike.

Yes. This happened to my 2014 RT but not quite as bad. Dried out but has left streaks inside the clocks. Very annoying on an expensive new bike. Have done nothing about it but may bring it up at the next service whilst under warranty. If they do change the clocks how does that affect the odometer reading?

On the centre display it does look like a slimey film creeping down the clocks, mailed the pictures to the dealer just awaiting a reply, but you are right, it should not happen on what is supposed to be a quality machine, none of my previous GS's / Triumphs / Kawasaki's or Honda's have ever had an issue similar to this. Fantastic bike, but being let down slightly by the bean counters.

The odometer reading stays the same, Dealer told me the mileage is held on the ECU, the clocks are a remote interface, however my service indicator date had changed, he reset from their database after plugging back in to their computer.
