Condensation in VDU

Went out for a bike ride today and noticed condensation in the VDU. It runs (no pun intended) from top to bottom on the right hand side of the screen.

The bike's 7 months old and it's the first time it's happened (or I've noticed it.

Warranty claim or "they all do that, sir".

I'm hoping warranty claim just like it would be if it was a headlight.

Anyone had the same?

Yes!!
Mate of mine had the same problem and it was sorted under warranty.
One thing that BM seem good at is replacing poor quality items, under warranty, with exactly the same poor quality items, so just keep claiming under warranty until it runs out then go on to the equally reknowned good will system!!!

If it bothers you get tough and demand a new one
I myself got fobbed of with "they all do that sir"
and just left it.

Though it hasn't reappeared since i've been a bit less violent
with the hose

Suffered it with numerous Triumphs but not on the GS so far. Always replaced under warranty in the days that Lilleys used to look after their customers. If yours is under warranty, have the unit changed.
