Hey up :thumb
I have a C610 Dell laptop
the thing seems to work Ok but the fan has not,
or I have not seen it, come on
Are the fans thermally switched or owt
How big a job is it to remove it and replace it
I have only had it running for 30-40 minutes as I didnt want to warm owt up if it is s dud fan - The fan does turn easy and spins when blown = just like me
Has anyone a Manual so I can Fooooook it up good and proper

Thanks to you , if you answer :thumb

Run it as normal Mick but keep some iced water near by in case it gets a bit warm.

:D

Laptops have thermostatically controlled fans which only run when needed to keep the power consumption down, especially when powered only by the battery.

I'd not worry, if it gets too hot the thing should shutdown anyway.

If it shuts down fer good:augie i'll take it off yer hands:D
