You may have a problem with a "borrowed" copy as you will have trouble registering it. Also Microsoft are switched on to the many "corporate versions" available as downloads and they work OK until you want to install updates.

Go to a computer fair and you can buy legal OEM copies at very low prices (I got my last one, marked Dell, for £5.00).
