Corbin Seat - wiring problems

I have bought a second hand seat with heating pads fitted.
I am having problems getting this to work . I have tested it on a bench power power supply and if I by pass all switching etc the pads heat up, when connected back together the lights on the switch work, i have even changed the main wiring block with a friend but still nothing.

The only thing left is the wiring to the front element in which 4 core cable is used.

does anyone know the wiring set up here ? I guess that 2 will be for the element and the big guess part is that the other 2 will be some form of temperature control..........

The other 2 wires are going to a thermistor, which is a negative temperature control. Which means when cold it will show a resistance at 25 deg C of about 10K ohms that decreases when heated.
So if you have an open circuit or broken thermistor it won't allow the controller to pass current to prevent overheating.
With a bit of trial and error with various thermistors and resistors I have now sorted the problem and have a functional heated seat.

I found Corbin to be very helpful. They can afford to be I suppose but it is still nice.

Oh and I now have a spare black seat for sale as I already have the original yellow one.
