Hello ppl,

Whilst stuck in a traffic jam, saw a 1100RT, with the rider dressed in a one piece suit which looked like a BMW design, cordura material or something similar. Has anyone see this style of suit anywhere??????

Regards

Mick.:beerjug:

Could have been an 'AEROSTITCH' from the states. One piece with zips all over. Dead easy to get in and out of. Big reflective panel across the shoulders [hiding another zip to aid cooling.].

like it, it did have a very large reflective panel across shoulders, was thinking of getting one for winter as the whole suit was a bright yellow and stood out like the dogs b*****k's. Will have to see.

Thanks to Ming :beerjug: and notadrop, with a name like that I take it you dont want a beer then....LOL

Thanks for the info.

Cheers

Mick.

Aerostitch..

Have just had a look at their web site and that's the one, has anyone tried one of these suits, if so are they any good...at $700 it should be...

Cheers

Aerostich

Brilliant for commuting, wear mine all year round.

Unless you have money to burn you need to get it delivered to the states and pick it up or get someone else to bring it back....UK Tax is ridiculous.

Armour is excellent, the sizing is also very good and I use a heated liner over a shirt in the winter.

Great kit.

Triumph do an over suite similar to the Aerostitch, CE armoured, Gortex, well vented for summer use, does not leak, has a monster quilted lining and zips over ordinary clothes I have one its good kit and cost believe it or not £50 at the BMF on the Triumph stand where they sell off their surplus stock. Frank Thomas does some thing very similar at £199 I think

My better half got one when we went to the States. They are virtually made to measure and very well constructed. She uses it all the time. Warm and dry in winter as well as cool come summer with all the zips. Excellent bit of kit

If this sounds like a plug for AEROSTITCH - it is. I own the company and I want YOUR money.

I've had the Aerostich (that's how they spell it for some reason) one-piece for three years now. Use it for commuting and touring.

It's expensive to get one sent here because of the added VAT and Excise Duty, but even so it works out at great value compared to the price of BMW gear. Mine came to around £650 at the front door.

The factory people couldn't be more helpful, and they are massively proud of the stuff they make.

Have a look at www.aerostich.com
