corrision on 08 gs engine casings

hi have many other gs owners had this problem with the the first batch of latest model gs launched in march 08
front casing on engine and starter motor cover both have bad blistering or bubbling under paintwork or any other part
my bike has done 23,000kms
and has the extended warranty on it
but my local dealer(motorrad.ie) here in ireland doesnt want to know
pls let me know if you have any of the same problems with early 08 model gs

I fitted a crud catcher to mine, did'nt stop the paint peeling, but at least it's outta sight......man!

Learn how to clean a bike. My mate's F800gs has done 55k & is mint. Inc engine cases

My F800GS had the same problem and it only had 1200 miles on the clock at the time and is always mint, when i looked into this via the internet i was informed it was a fault on the way they applied the paint on some 08 bikes! and in return BMW fitted a new engine under warranty,

goodwill gesture here in ireland is non existing they just dont wont to know
my bike is cleaned every week
here in ireland during winter months they dont use as much salt as they do in the uk on the roads so thats not the problem
