Corrosion

Hi Everybody,
My 02 gsa was stored for 3 years by its previous owner
Ive had a few issues which are now sorted.Its in good order except for the exhaust downpipes which are rusted at the front..Question is whats the best way to clean this so that i dont score the pipes and create a bigger rust problem.Is there any "magic" products that will help to remove this.

MAAS metal polish

This is easily the very best polish that I have ever used on stainless steel.

I use polish and a bit of 600 wet and dry, then just the polish afterwards
