Has anyone tried agents like ACF 50, GT 65, DucklOil, or something similar to protect the terminals?

Ive tried them but found a quick scrub with a old tooth brush and WD40 works and lasts the longest.

Sorry to Hijack this but is there a way of preventing the rubber terminal protector on the cradle from perishing? I'm on my third now and getting pissed off with replacing them.

I read on zumoforums that vaseline works so thats what I use. I also use it on the terminals after having to replace the mount due to corrosion.

Just happened to have some in the house:D

Silicon grease would do the trick as well, I believe. Or you could buy some Castrol red rubber grease. In fact, it sems like you have the ideal excuse to buy both. :thumb
