Over the
Timmeljoch > St Leonhard (San Leonardo) > left to Walten (Valtina) >
Jaufenpass to just before the Motoway and Sterzing > turn right and over the
Penser Joch down to the outskirts East of Bozen (Bolzano) > Turn left to Tiers (Tires) > over the
Nigersattel and
Karerpass to Canazei > turn left and over
Sellajoch, Grödnerjoch and
Passo d. Falzarego to
Cortina d'Ampezzo.
From Cortina >
Passo Tre Croci > left to Schluderbach (Carbonin). At this point you can turn off right up the
Drei Zinnen road (Toll) if you so wish. Route back to Schluderbach (or continue on if you don't divert to the Drei Zinnen) up to Toblach (Dobbiaco) > turn right to Sillian > over the
Pustertaler Höhenstraße (Pustertaler High Road) and onto Lienz > Winklern > Heiligenblut and over the
Großglockner.
Excellent route and roads.......have done it many times. All these roads/passes (and more) are on our four week summer tour itinerary in 5 weeks time with the southernmost point being Gardasee (Lake Garda). For a visual representation of the route I have described take a look at the map here
