cost of a new fitted clutch for 1150gs

right...my blunderbuss is approaching 40k and is in need of a new clutch. will someone pls scare me as to the kind of money i should pay to have a new one fitted? as its out of warranty, i intended using a non franchise person.....any help gratefully received

I asked my Belgian dealer a while ago, and he said it's about 400 euros. 275ish in pounds?

MIKE..gave the jap and german guys a bell.....quoted 340 for genuine parts clutch all in....seems not bad....well i mean realtive to all normal things bmw!!! weird thing is, i distinctly remember my bmw salesman cooing on how bmw clutches go on for 80-100k without failing.....must be me again...crap rider all round hehehe
