Went for a great ride today. Started off near Leighton Buzzard, over to Waddesdon, Bicester, Enstone, Charlbury, Burford, Bibury then Northleach. We were planning to stop for tea and cakes at Blades at the 'old prison' but it was shut. Anyone know why? We then went to Stow, Chipping Norton, Banbury, Cannons Ashby, Blakesley, Towcester, Woburn, then back home. A really great mix of roads. One of the guys was a police bike instructor, this a route they use regularly. He had a great new bluetooth headset. I've been looking at these recently, and had more or less decided on the Cardo Scala. I can't remember were he got it from. But a quick search came up with www.sportsrider.co.uk . Guess what I'm buying next?

Blades

Hi i read in the local press that the Land Lord for the premises(Cotswold District Council)want both Tenants to sign up to new Leases, that now include full repairs to their premises,so may be no more Cafe.

Sounds like an interesting route. Got a .gpx or .itn file by any chance:)

Blades Cafe Northleach

The Cafe is now closed down, premises are up for sale. Northleach has three Pubs and a grocery shop and public Toilets, so a visit is recommended. :thumb
