Got my Adventure-Spec bars fitted yesterday, im sure i remember once seeing an 800GS with small bags mounted on these. Does anyone know who makes these. Cheers DJ

One of the guys had Kreiga tens fitted on the side, also TT do ones for the 1200 wonder if they may fit?

Those Best-Rest bags look the part to increase carrying capicity, only even their own blurb says their a loose fit on Adventure-spec bars. Has anyone tried them?

I've not tried the Best-Rest bags but they only hold 8 litres in total for $100 whereas the Kriega bags will hold 10 litres (2 x 5) for £58 or 20 litres (2 x 10) for £78 and are far more adaptable--they can be also mounted as a tail pack or as a tank bag with the necessary adapter.

YEP + 1 here for the Kriega US10 so adaptable, used here as tail pack, on purpose built rack extenda (fits on to vario top box rack) no not sturmey Archer.. crafted by chad i think its a one off :D

Gotta have em they look the business. Do they slip on over the bars or do they have to be strapped to the bars one strap at a time?

the bags come with straps and clips, so they just clip on. i've no pics of the exact mounting, but it's about as complex as tying your shoe lace.

Thanks! I (We) have a US40 (US20+US10+US10) and a US5, so I know the bags, I just wondered how they were mounted. Thanks! I might go out in the garage and have a play. I doubt I need the extra carrying capacity right now, but it might come in handy. :thumb2
