Crash Bars

Probably an old question , but :-
Hepco and Becker crash bars for the 1150 GS, do they do just engine protector bars (I don't require headlight protection)and how good are they ?
Do they need to be removed for servicing ?
Are they easy to fit ?
Best place to get them from ?

Yes, they do just the engine bars.
They probably offer the best protection of any bars out there.
They need to be loosened to get the rocker covers off for servicing (although opinion is divided on this matter)
They are reasonably easy to fit, follow Simon Eassom's instructions here.

Motobins stock them. Check whether Motorworks do, as they've got a '10% off' sale on at the moment.....
