Could anyone confirm a tale I have heared about the sun visor on the C2.
Apparently it can be inverted from the straight bottom edge to a contoured "fighter pilot" configuration
Any comments appreciated

Thats certainly the case with the one in the S1. Remove flip over and reinstall!

Just bought a Shoei Multitech today from South Wales Superbikes, have not been out with it yet but first impressions is good, excellent fit for me and comes with pinlock strip, additional smoked visor(legal), chin curtain and whisper kit for £279. Apparently all the problem with Syncrotech has been sorted.

Will let you know what it's like next time i go out, when the heavens close for a few hours!!!!

Hi Andy, just been looking at the Multitech myself and would be interested how you get on with it:mmmm ....keep us posted
Cheers mate,
Richard

Just purchased a Multitech from the Ally Pally show london.

First thoughts.

Great fit, comfortable from the start
louder than my C2 but a little quieter then my XR1000
Very easy to open chin, one handed open/close
Autocom Speakers fit in perfectly and there is still room for molded earplugs without squashing your ears

At the moment shoei are giving away a free tinted visor with every Multitech.

Once I've had it a week I'll post some more

Shoei Multitec, first impressions.

Well been out all weekend with the Multitec, all in all i am impressed, very comfortable. Plenty of room inside for intercom etc, but not too much so that lots of wind gets in under chin (optional chin curtain supplied in box).

It is true that it is not all that quiet, but i was riding an unfaired bike at 85-90 and was not particularly bad, sorry have not been biking long so can't compare to other flip ups! In the locked down position the helmet feels secure and the vents are excellent, so good i had to close them after a few seconds (both head and chin vents are easily operated wearing winter gloved whilst riding).

One thing i have noticed which i must investigate is the fact that some wind was hitting my eyes with all vents closed and causing my eyes to water, watery eys=blurred vision!!! However, i'm sure i can tweek something to try and improve, if not will get a replacement and try that.

The helmet comes with pinlock which i think is a great product. So overall i like it, you are all i'm sure aware of the advantages and disadvantages of flip ups, so no need to go into that i don't think.

Well i hope this helps somebody, please let me know what you guys also think about it, do you get wind through top of visor?
