Inspired by some folding mirrors I saw recently on a KTM 650(?) Adventure in Bideford (Devon), I want something similar for my F800GS. I am intending to do some rough track/off-road riding this year and expect to fall off a lot.

I did a search on mirrors on the forum but almost lost the will to live to see 500 threads listed so apologies if this topic has been covered.

So far I have found the following:

http://wunderlichuk.com/shop/item.asp?itemid=7185&catid=
£32.58 each +shipping

http://www.adventure-spec.com/shop/...d-tough-motorcycle-mirror-system/cat_109.html
£47.84 each +shipping

http://www.touratech.com/shops/008/...=9474&osCsid=12dbdde88287c10bb5f349a50f4e1003
£35.72 +shipping

Has anyone had experience of these/own one/a pair or have views on them?

Thanks in advance.

I've got these on my F8 from AdventureBikeWarehouse. Cheaper and better looking than any others I've seen... £20 each

auto rotation effect? similar to helicopters if you manage to get the high sider high enough....

Save your money unscrew them for the rough stuff you will be to busy looking up front to worry whats behind you :thumb

If you have to see behind how about ......

I allways just give a look over my right shoulder before I pass the F8's :toungincheek

i've seen it all now...

helmet mirrors?!
where'd you get them?
Seriously.

Check out highway dirtbike handguards they have built a system for the F800GS with a cool folding mirror that tucks completely out the way.

Across on the Adventure Bike Rider some have recommended lostening up the mirrors so they will rotate under pressure and then keeping them from rotating while riding using a small bit of insulating tape ... given the advice her thats the way I will go.

Thanks to all :)

I have a hdb setup on my dakar, it's a brilliant setup :thumb2

There is another mirror setup, double take mirrors Designed by a guy over on advrider, he's doing the dakar next year so the mirrors ought to be tough.
