Hi, have what I believe to be a Hepco Becker
Part Number:HB_502.908 00 01 cras bars fittet to my recently aquired r1150gs.
However, it is only bolted to the frame in 3 places....

Scoured the internet and cant find a fitting kit for this, as I need spacers of specific dimensions to complete install, otherwise I'm better off removing it..
Any idea where these can be got?

It'll help if you state where the three mounting points are ? but that sounds normal for the H&B bars

In my garage

The bolts and spacers are sitting in my garage as I junked these bars (bent).
Where are you in Ireland, in just outside Limerick?
Clearing the garage at present.

I bought the bike off a guy in limerick:rolllaugh

3 bolts eachside frame to engine, frame to transmission, and frame where clock support goes.

Much appreciate nud1e if you could post, I'm in Dundalk.

If I remember correctly, you reuse the bolts for the clocks subframe. You need the longer bolts and spacers for the engine and gearbox fittings and you need to support the engine and gearbox when fitting. I have the longer bolts and spacers and will be passing through Dundalk next Tuesday. I can drop them off with you. PM me your details.

Much Oblidged Nud1e, can't seem to PM you, perhaps because of my 3 posts... Can put my number here if allowed (in text number format)

Iirc you will need to be a subscriber to get the PM function, £12 but worth it for model relevant info and access to the for sale section etc

Just make your own spacers from a steel tube, what i done when i bought a cheap set off fleabay...
• Two 18/11 x 12mm long
• One 18/11 x 20mm long
• One 18/11 x 17mm long
A coat of paint helps to prevent rust on a cosmetic level... fitting instructions over here ....http://advrider.com/index.php?threads/how-to-install-hepco-becker-crash-bars-on-a-1150gs.66605/, as well as a link to the original 'instruction manual' here

good bars, worth fitting imho especially if you're planning on dropping her :beerjug:

edit... the above info about longer bolts is absolutely spot on and quite important too, RTFM :thumb2
