Cutting aluminium

I had to cut an aluminium housing off a strimmer. It literally shredded the angle grinder blade. I couldn’t believe it. Must be something behind the litelock claims. JJH

Yeah it melts and clags up the disc.

I had no problem fabricating my givi plate extender. Used an ali specific jigsaw blade though.

I learned this as I was trying to decide what to buy. This was 6082-T6.
