Well here I am sat in Southampton airport on my way home after flying over to pick up my bike from CW.

Shipped it over a couple of weeks ago and they found worn big ends and promptly changed them for me.

After almost a year moaning about my local French dealers, its like riding a new bike instead of the noisy, vibrating diesel tractor I had before.

While they had it, Wally spots the dreaded oil seep between gearbox and engine and sorts out a top deal for me, if I leave it with them.

So............ plane home!

Back in two weeks to finally take home the bike BMW should have made and CW have sorted.

I can't say enough good things about Wally, Darren and all the team.:bow

Great blokes, knowledgeable, trustworthy and helpful, these people are what I was looking for when I bought into this marque.:clap

Thanks guys for all the help and sorting out the tractor!!

See you in two weeks.:bounce1:bounce1

That's just why I do a 140 mile round trip to get the bike serviced. Great bunch of guys and they can't do enough to help when things go pearshaped. Even the sales staff are helpful and don't ignore you like a lot do.
I guess that's why they always get good ratings in the customer surveys in various bike mags.
They'll get my vote everytime :thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb:thumb

I too have a 140 odd mile round trip to CW's but I carry on going back there as I feel as though I can see where my money's going.

Yes, they're not cheap by any stretch but I'm made to feel welcome and you always feel as though you've been well treated.

They seem to have got the old customer focus pretty much spot on - And they have donated to the RN Bike club's Children-in-need runs generously over the years (I hope they don't mind me mentioning this), something I'm eternally grateful for.

Nice to see another satisfied customer! :thumb2

I've been a customer off and on for the last 25 years and they are the Ds Bs. Yes, they aren't the cheapest but at least you will get the best treatment. They always go the extra mile and seem genuinely to want to help the customer. Couldn't ask for any more.
Thanks guys.
John

Likewise, always found good service there, only used them occassionally
but worth it every time. ( Its a bit of a long trek to get there )

Started using Bahnstormers who I've found to be almost CW's equal for customer focused service. ( and a lot nearer )

That said tempted to 'trek' to CW's for 1st 6K service, use a recommended B&B and have mini break in Dorset.

CW's are by far the best dealers I've used so far - the 250mile round trip is more than worth it. They are the benchmark. Period. Dealer community take note.

Cheers
Johnny
