This year the long haired general out did herself in the christmas presents department.
Although it took a little while to arrive I got this:
The full kit consists of the pump, the din socket (with adaptor to fit normal ciggy lighters) an extention cord and a direct to battery adaptor.
Additionally you can get a gauge
To test I deflated my tyres.
Front took just over a minute and a half to get upto recomended solo PSI
Rear took just over 3 1/2 minutes to get upto recomended solo PSI
The gauge is great, but I found it had to be held against the brass connector to stop air from escaping - its got a little steel sprung clip and does not thread onto the air hose, the clip sometimes slips. The little button on the top is used to let air out.
Just for size comparison
I also got this
Very very simple - fortunately I've not had to test this out yet but I'm not worried when it does happen. all fits into a pencil case
The pump appears to be very robust, shakes a little when operational! infact all the components are well made and everything fits nicely into the red bag
It does weigh a bit but you could remove the extras as the lead is easily long enough to do both tyres and a second bike / vehicle
The tyre plugger is so simple its fool proof! very sturdily made and compact
All of this cost about $150 from best rest products in the USA.
Top bit of kit! top present!
