Yesterday a cyclist was killed by a car on the Bewdley by-pass. Apparently 2 cars were involved!

Just how fast were these bastards going down there? The skids marks on the road were pretty long and veered off onto the other side of the carriage way!

Selfish feckers have no regard for slower moving, smaller vehicles...:spitfire

hard to say

a cyclist was involved in a crash with a gsxr1100 a few years ago local to me, apparantly his chain broke and he swerved into the path of the motorbike, biker survived but the cyclist was killed

It may just have been an unlucky accident :nenau :nenau

sad for the family though

:( :( :(

Rob

I don't know where Gaz is, haven't spoke to him for a few months...:nenau

Jim's about, speak to him most weeks and met up with him at Clark's on Tuesday (he was complaining again...:D ).

I've been busy doing other stuff like canoeing whilst the weather is good.
Also back at college and preparing for my 'fault finding and fault rectification' exam...

We'll have to get out sometime!

Ditto that.

Have just come back from Skye on the bike (went with a bunch of ex-VFR club chaps, all now on BMWs), never seen so many fast sweeping, perfectly surfaced bends in my life. A brilliant place.

Anyway, that's got my speed fix out of the way for a while so I'd be up for a potter about in Wales some time.

good,

I just need to rebuild the engine on 600 and all will be well,

failing that are you happy to ride it over here and then wait for the big bikes off road ??

anyone fancy doing the strata florida ???

that's the track that Garry took us on, it's passable on a GS now but it's not easy :augie :augie :augie

anyone ????????

Rob

Yes to everything :thumb (though I'd rather not drown it first time out, might wait another month or so for the Strata Florida as the rains seem to have just started).
I collect the DR on Saturday so can play anytime after that.

When you coming in for this soft armour DD? you phoned up a while back, have you changed ya mind? Hope ya ok me mon :)

Shame about the cyclist :rose myself and another car nearly got involved in a nasty accident Thursday, stupid boy racing fecker sped through a red light, talk about needing quick reactions, luckerly we both managed to brake in time, was one of those butt clenching moments :spitfire

At last Thursday night's time trial one of the riders was making their way to the event via Stonebridge island and got taken out by Mr Magoo in his 4x4.

Bit of a mess, eventually zapped over to Selly Oak A&E in the air ambulance.

She's had a couple of operations, including a skin graft yesterday, but at least she's still warm and breathing. She'll be in for another week or so, but counts herself lucky to still be alive.

Another case of a motorist just not paying attention.
