Having removed the behemoth of a Tour Pak on my Electra I needed something to carry my tent, tarp and sleeping bag.
Impressed with Cymarcs GS racks I asked Mark to make me something and he did a damn fine job of translating my fag packet into this superb rack.
I just need to tidy up the bolts and aerial......

A very understanding chap!

I must add that Steve has ben very kind to accept what I have done for him. yes it was a challenge to interpret his wishes and make something which looked like a tea tray into somthing appealing.

I also had an impending holiday looming and I simply didn`t want to let him down so what I came up with was very last minute so that he didnt have to wait unduly.

This of course is no excuse for poor workmanship and I can only thank Steve for accepting this as it is far from perfect as I would have hoped to have done a much better job for him.

I remain sincerely thankful for his kindness!

(steve - if you ever come up with a better design i`ll make it free for you :thumb)

Doesn't do it for me I'm afraid...

I think that a reinterpretation of the traditional 3 or 4 channel fender rack would be much better looking.

And the cut out lettering is simply naff; we know it's a Harley!

That's OK , it's not yours :thumb2

True, and if you like it then that's cool...

Maybe I'm too 'traditional' :D

I'd approach it as an opportunity to improve an existing design.

A lot of HD stuff is crummy chrome, and not always as load bearing as it could be.

A S/S fender rack, good and strong, would look (IMHO) fantastic :thumb2
