If you are a Dakar owner and around 5' 3" in height, what alterations/mods have you had to do to your machine to make use as safe as possible.
Please include any pics that you may have.
Why, well Sarah Teach has the final part of her direct access course and if she passes, she likes the look of the Dakar 650, especially after seeing a couple for sale on here recently.

Thanks in advance.

Timpo.

platform boots :D

erm, other than useless answer the only options i can think of are to buy a standard 650 and source a set of dakar panels, (i think colt may have a set in white). or get a koubalink (sp?) fitted to lower the rear and then raise the forks up through the clamps at the front.

get her to sit on on before you do anything else tho, she may just be able to manage as it is :D

Speak to Orla Timpo I think she's done pretty much the same as what RCmad says :thumb2
Nice machines Teach will love it :beerjug:
