I am in the middle of rebuiding the rear suspension linkage on a dakar and have found out from both dealers and Motoworks that the bushes in the strut bearings are no longer available!
This means that the job has gone from £30ish (bearings, bushes, seals)to £80 for 2 complete new struts, a big jump in cost for such a small job.
Does anyone know a source of bushes?

What about replacing the struts with Koubalinks?
Not cheap but not that much more expensive than new ones either plus you then have grease nipples to play with. :thumb

What are these struts you speak of? And the bushes?
Can you post up a pic, I may know of alternative materials....

The struts are the link struts that run vertically up from the rocker arm on the rear suspension.
The bushes are the steel bushes that the needle roller bearings run on. I would think that they are probably hardened to stop premature wear. From RealOEM.com parts list;- 33537650103 Bush bearing L=23MM. Cannot do pics at the moment.
