Whats the craic with this? Apparently it is banned in France to have a device capable of showing location of speed cams yet Garmin Cyclops sell a product called "dangerous zones" which displays areas rather than exact locations of speed cams. I have used this and it is hit and miss. Sometimes there is no camera at all. I have noticed that there are various files online that give updated exact speed cam location for France much the same as Garmin cyclops for other countries. Makes more sense to download them.

Just wait until you are in mid France before giving it large, they don't seem to bother with prosecution once you are south of Paris :D

Im just worried that I will be collared for speeding last year. I probably got flashed 2/3 times on rural roads but because a foreign reg I wasn't worried. This time I plan on using the tolled motorways in France and just curious as to if they kept some sort of a record?

You are from Dublin :augie why wasn't your tax disc holder in the licence plate position as most in the capital have it :):)

Don't leave it on the bike - it gets nicked.

just a silly suggestion, try sticking to the speed limit:blast

Its a bit late now boss - already happened.

Im just wondering if there is some sort of record that can be flagged along the tolls etc.

That is so, but, the police/Gendarmes have no right to look at your GPS. Toothless law like the breathalyser.
