Hi all, can anyone tell me where i could find a black or dark tint standard gsa `08 screen. Been looking but not much luck for a `08 gsa.

Cheers all.:thumb2

Have you tried your dealer. I'm sure they could order one for you.

I'm sure that is a genuine BMW accessory...and so should be available at your dealer :thumb2

BMW prt /num 71607708532
but you will need a lot of other part to fit it.
Check out other theads here.

Vines quoted the dark screen £130.00 inc vat plus £24.50 labour inc vat.

:eek::eek:

Im sure i can find a aftermarket screen, and im not paying for fitment, It only has four bolt holes for crying out load. Sounds about right for vines, charge that much to fit a screen. Somebody must do a aftermarket screen. I will keep looking. Thanks for all the info so far.:thumb2

Although I like the look of the black screen.........

.......I look down through the screen to see the road just in front of the front wheel when the road is pot-holed or the road condition is bad.

So although I'd be tempted to get one, I do wonder if they are really practical in the real world? :nenau

not being funny, but i have been riding motorbikes for most of my life, i was always taught you should never look just in front of the front wheel. I race moto x and Dave thorpe (uk world champion), told me this, if you look just in front of the front wheel you will hit what your looking at, you should be looking at least 5-10 metres in front at all times. I have never had a problem since i learned this. Id like a black or dark tint screen, had one on my last bike (bandit 1200) and it was just the job.
So any help with this matter would be much appreiceated (or however you spell it)

Cheers all

Are you sure you do that :blast if so it will not be long for the off! :eek
In the real world I've down 29,000mls with the 'Dark one' and it's great.
LOOK AHEAD

I don't mean all the time!!!:blast

But on occasions looking through the screen has been a definate asset.

I've been riding 23 years :rob, mostly around Europe, done Police training etc, know about forward observation, and the 'you go where you're looking' technique......

.......I just feel to not be able to see a large section of road infront of you when you might need to, could be a distinct disadvantage at times :augie

You'll not get any darker than a Puig screen. Plus it's reasonably close to the oe shape.
