Darrs

When mounted they look like T/T asymetrical set , have you seen
the pictures of these.
They are 94cm wide.
If you take your resale value into the equation these dont offer
such great value for money.
As you say €84 each + adapter + t/t or similar mounting brackets
i could see all kinds of complications on that horizon.
+ is 31 lts really enough for a two up two week trip ?.
I could sell you second hand T/T zega for similar money or
I could sell you a new set of CaJa Sahel for £500.
You can see a Pre production pair on the Innovators & Vendors.

For the money I think they are a good buy. What kinda league are TT boxes in? All we see on this site are people cobbing about how expensive TT are and how poor their workforce are. If the time comes to see them on, well you sell them on at a price relative to what you paid for them. The company that supplies the boxes look like they know what there doing, so I reckon they would be a safe bet.

CaJa Sahel :Tourenkoffer :

I think that CaJa Sahel are the optimum set of panniers for a GS
And they are Cheaper than any of the Competition .
That does not in any way compromise the quality of the Product.
I think they are at the Very least comparable to the best on the
market. You must have seen the review they got on the
equipment ~&~toys section of this site.

The only one who does not comprise in the quality of goods made is VERN, everybody else is in only for the money

I saw the set of Caja's on Noddy's bike last night and I was very impressed with them. At that price, with the exhaust cutout ??

Tempting.

i went to see the metal mule place last week, i think you can add them to that list.

the best quality i've seen for panniers & an interesting exhaust solution for symetrical mounting :thumb

they all do it for the money, what else?

Good quality but, very heavy IMHO compaired to the TT's. Extra weight the sub-frame doesn't need. Not much of a problem if the the sub-frame is braced though. Also I'm not keen on all those exposed rivets.

panniers

I hate seeing big ugly frames on the bike when the panniers are not fitted so I bought a set from Al Jessie. I was knocked out by the quality and sheer usefulness of them.

More expensive than others but I'd buy them again without hesitation.

Colin.

Colin did you get your Al Jesse's sent from the US or did you get them from the Europe outlet?
