During the boom my daughter was invited to several parties in his home. Everyone got goody bags of "Very" expensive French handbags :rolleyes:. When all the crap came out about him my daughter said "Ah now it all makes sense" :cool:.
 
So the hoops I - out of work and on SW at the time of application - had to go through to to qualify for legal aid (not FREE btw - I have to pay a contribution) don't apply to him, a millionaire who must have mega stashes of cash around the world?

He's from my home town. He was always an arsehole.
 
Between shit like this and some bollocks somehow acquiring the rights to mine on on the moon, I often find it difficult not to be quite cynical about what a kip the world is.
 
Yes we here in Ireland kinda tolerated nodding and winking brown envelopes and phone calls to somebody's 3rd cousin twice removed to get some advantage or a nod to a job. It's only on the last few years that we have woken up and started to ask why. JJH
