Took a couple of days off work this week and headed off to mid Wales, got to of been two of the best days riding I have had in many a year.
Came up from J28 M4, quick call at a customers to drop some parts, then headed for tredegar and on up to Brecon, stopped at the new Cotswold shop and a coffee. Then made my way up to Llanwrtyd Wells, stoped at a cheap B&B for the night. Up at 06.00 on the Saturday and went for an hours walk along the river before heading back to the B&B to pack up and head off for the day.
I took the road over the mountain to Tregaron. What a great road, I did not see another living sole untill I got to Tregaron, stopped a couple of times to look at the kites and just stand in orr of the place. I then made my way over to Toms farm, what a set up he has got there, 600 acres of may heam, H&S would have a field day there. Hence to say I just poped in said hello to a chap from work who was playing around on his dirt bike for the day.
After that it was time to head south and home came passed the bike meet at Abergavenny in the car park, loads of bikers sitting around enjoying the nice weather. Any way wont boar you with the reast of the trip back to the south cost, but just to say Wales has to be one of the best places in the Uk to ride a GS.
I did post a note in the south west section to see if any one wanted to join me but got no takes, so next time I will call on some locals to show me around.
Cheers for now.
