Daytona BT handlebar mounted controller

In the latest edition (29) of Adventure Bike Rider there is an article on pg 18 on the Daytona Smartphone controller.

Has anyone got one ? What do they think ?

The article makes it certainly sound well worthwhile

Isn't that sort of controller redundant if you have voice control and a decent intercom linked to a BT smart device?

Voice control seems a far safer and more effective way of doing the job, and would probably be more flexible if set up well.
