I have two dead power sockets.:(
Used to charge my iphone through one; nothing else.
Tech man said system should reset after ignition off and on.
Still dead.:comfort
voltmeter confirms dead.
Charging lead works on mates GS fine.
any ideas chaps before I admit defeat and prostrate my wallet before the alter of the sacred dealer?

Well that's Canbus for ya ... the sockets go dead when you switch off :nenau

Don't mind him, he's probably dizzy from going round the Nurburgring.

Has the bike been serviced recently? The behaviour of the sockets may have been changed by a software update to the ECU.

Is it just your iPhone charger that's not working, or are more power-hungry accessories failing as well?

cheers Tobermory,
I only use the aux sockets for the iphone, so no great load.
Local spanerman found no fault code on his pc, and local dealer suggests bringing it in for a look.
hmm...

Check the underseat socket wiring loom connector for corrosion.
