Dealer Negotiations?

I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger on a new 12GS which I'll likely get from a dealership in Colorado. What are GSers experiences in negotiating price with a dealer? Any useful tactics, bartering stories, goodies v. $, etc. would be appreciated.

Perhaps it would be useful to go to advrider.com. Pricing/wty/service are much different in europe and any info here would likely not be aplicable to buying a bike in colorado.
