Dealers near to Kendal

My R1200GS should be arriving at Ocean BMW in Plymouth by October.

By then I will have moved to Kendal in the Lake District! So the first trip the bike does will be over 350 miles! I will be looking for an alternaltive to the M6!!

So far as Dealers go I notice that the nearest 2 are Southport Motorcycles and Alan Jefferies @ Shipley. Any comments on them or recommendations for any further afield?

I've had 2 GS's off Jeffries and had no problems with service there. Others will moan and say Rainbow are best.....I'd certainly give them a try, and you've got a nice run down the dales mid week to get there...

As you say the Dales will be spot on, especially for a 1st timer!

Ahh that'll be why Ocean seemed so cheerful over the phone then!

Any idea how much. Is it only a Oil, filter and checkover service?
