Sena SMH 10 - 11 looks reasonable but some reviews are putting me off - anyone here with experience of them ?
Cheers.

Pay a little extra and use the use the SMH 20. That's a fine set up ....they are frustrating to get set up an connected to the nav , phone , iPod etc , but this is mainly down to setting up correctly. When connected they all work fine . Better value than the 10 model

I'm sure loads of others will bring there models in , but the sena 20 works better for me than the 10 did

SMH10 - I used one, along with several bike riding pals, for about 5 years. Pretty much foolproof. Very good quality audio, good battery life and good range especially in line of sight conditions. Pairs with any other make of bluetooth including the £30-40 versions.

However, I wouldn't buy the SMH10 again as there is a now 10s model-

http://www.sena.com/product/10s/

which uses Bluetooth V4 same as in the more expensive 20s (without the complication of the 20s) and this gives even clearer comms and better range. I believe it is a similar price and if not yet available in the UK (I think it is) it soon will be

Overall I don't think you will be disappointed with SENA products

Thanks for the replies. Always better to get info from here and gone for the 10s as complicated usually results in frustrated.
Cheers.

I've just bought the Cardo Scala 9X and it seems pretty good.

I recently went in search of a Sena 10s. However, I found that Amazon were offering the 20S at £189 postage fee. Which was pennies more expensive than the 10s.

I am very pleased with the 20s

Had quite a few head sets in the last 5 years now on the Cardo packtalk this imo is the best of the bunch atm

I've been using a pair of the SMH 10 for a few years, no problems. I bought the extra clamp that allows you to use in-ear buds or custom moulded monitors, work well... :thumb

I've got the 20s. Music, intercom, personal phone, work phone. all work great. the intercom works 100% better than the old Super Pro AVI autocom.
FM radio is completely and utterly useless.

I have a pair of UClear 100 Plus, tend to use them as an intercom with the pillion. Also can answer phone, stream music etc. A pair of them is arounf £180. Boomless too.

I have had both the Sena 20s and SMH 10, the 10 is easier to use but love the FM radio on the 20.

My SMH10 is 4 years old and is used daily on my commute all year round! Brilliant bit of kit, worth every penny
